Do you offer payment plans?

CareCredit is a personal line of credit for healthcare treatments and procedures. It is meant to help you pay your out-of-pocket healthcare costs, often with no finance charges. It can be used to pay for any dental treatment including necessary procedures like root canals or cosmetic procedures like whitening, veneers, implants and more. Save your consumer credit cards for household or unplanned expenses. Unlike your Visa or MasterCard, CareCredit is exclusive for healthcare services.

What is Periodontal Disease (Gum Disease)?

Periodontal Disease is a common disease affecting 75% of all Americans. It affects the gums and supporting bone around the teeth. Left untreated, it results in eventual tooth loss. Because early gum disease is painless, patients are often unaware that there is a problem. For this reason, regular dental visits are essential for the early diagnosis and treatment of gum disease.

Are “White Fillings” as Good as “Silver Fillings”?

In most cases they are better! White fillings are made of composite materials with particles of various sizes. They are bonded into place using an intense bonding light and reach full strength immediately. Because they are bonded into place, the tooth reduction can be more conservative than with silver amalgam which must be packed into undercuts to hold it. In addition, white fillings expand and contract more like tooth structure thereby lessening the chance of cracks developing in the tooth. Lastly, white fillings do not contain mercury and obviously look much nicer.

We Just Had a Child. When Should We Start with Dental Care?

As soon as you can see teeth showing, it is best to begin wiping them off on a daily basis with a washcloth or something similar. We recommend that at age 1, your child start to accompany you to your dental cleanings to develop a familiarity with the dental office and perhaps “ride on the chair”. By age 3, the child should be ready for their own appointments.
